WHERE WILL THIS CERTIFICATE TAKE YOU
Certificate III in air conditioning and refrigeration will teach you how to choose components, install, set up, test, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems, large-scale food storage and preservation equipment, and air-conditioning and air distribution equipment. It details the criteria for purchasing and handling refrigerants. Education is paired with on-the-job training to complete this qualification.
You will study while working as an apprentice. If you are a trained repairman with experience, you will be evaluated on the job. In this industry, skill recognition in education and on the job is critical for training and assessment. This recognition occurs in real or very closely simulated workplace environments. This certification indicates that you have completed all competency units, either through prior experience or instruction with a recognised RTO.
