A relevant qualification is a crucial requirement for obtaining a license in the building and construction industry. If you do not have a current qualification or are not qualified, there is no need to worry. We offer a solution through our partnered Registered Training Organizations (RTOs) by using your formal experience in the industry to obtain a qualification via the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process (T&C apply).

Once you have enrolled and completed the RPL process to become qualified, we will review your current and formal work experience in the industry. Minimum work experience is often a requirement for building and specialist works, in addition to formal qualifications. We will guide you through the process of collecting work evidence and compiling it into a portfolio.

There are several documents that need to be submitted when applying for a trade license, such as insurance documents (if required), trade history, license history, criminal record (if any), and more. At this stage, you are fully prepared to submit your application to the relevant state authority (NSW, VIC, ACT, SA, WA, NT, TAS).
